Given that 68% of the global population will be living in cities by 2050, it’s a certainty that we will need to accommodate denser cities in every aspect, from residential apartments to homes, and offices to green spaces. What is up to designers and urban planners is how this density will be achieved, and not only achieved practically, but in a way that offers a high quality of living to building occupants and visitors. Through an intense debate on different approaches to dense urban habitats across all city spaces, the markers of truly innovative dense urban habitats that successfully accommodate more people in smaller spaces without compromising on health, safety, privacy, comfort, convenience, aesthetics and much more, will take place during this panel discussion.
